The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit, including treatment plans and progress notes. Manage patient flow by coordinating appointments and assisting at the front desk as needed, including duties typical of a dental receptionist. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Skills Proficient in assisting with general dentistry procedures as well as specialized areas such as endodontics.
