The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating dental models. Maintain accurate patient records using software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including medical coding. Ensure the dental clinic is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures, particularly in endodontics. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures. Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry is essential. Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in CPR or First Aid is preferred.
