Seda Dental of Delray Beach Job Overview:
Seda Dental of Delray Beach is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in a full-time role. This position is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you are skilled in assisting in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, this is the ideal opportunity for you!
Your Role:
As a vital member of our team, you will: Assist the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and supporting patients. Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams and procedures. Take accurate dental digital x-rays. Perform essential lab duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure optimal infection control. Assist with scheduling and managing patient flow.
Qualifications:
Previous dental assistant experience is preferred, but not required! X-ray certification required. Proficiency in dental software (Open Dental or similar) is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding is helpful. Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow infection control protocols diligently. Why Seda Dental?
