Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take digital X-rays and impressions Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and orthodontic care Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation Provide a friendly, calming environment for children and families Manage supplies and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Requirements:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or relevant state certification Experience in orthodontic dentistry preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well with children and anxious patients Knowledge of dentrix software and X-ray equipment CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
