We are currently seeking an Experienced Clinical Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work alongside skilled orthodontic professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that puts both patients and staff first. Depending on clinic needs, occasional travel between locations may be required. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting orthodontists with clinical procedures including banding, bonding, wire changes, impressions, and debonding Taking digital X-rays, photos, and impressions as needed Educating patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment goals Maintaining sterilization protocols and ensuring clinical areas are clean and organized Preparing patient charts and ensuring treatment records are accurately updated Monitoring treatment progress and coordinating with the administrative and treatment coordination teams Assisting with same-day starts and ensuring all consents and initial records are completed Creating a positive, professional, and supportive environment for patients and fellow team members Who We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate is: A proactive and confident clinical assistant with strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-paced clinical team Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional in demeanor Skilled at building rapport with both children and parents Flexible and reliable, with a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset Required Qualifications At least 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (required) Current Florida Radiology Certification CPR Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Familiarity with orthodontic instruments and procedures Experience with practice management software (Dentrix or Denticon is a plus) Why Join Us?
