What You’ll Do:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in our practice by:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures.
- Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort.
- Taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment.
- Taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns.
- Providing patients with oral hygiene instructions.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control procedures.
- Performing expanded duties.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Certification:
CDA, EFDA
- Radiography Certification
Skills:
○ Proficiency in dental assisting procedures and techniques. ○ Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. ○ Strong organizational and time-management skills. ○ Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. ○ Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment. ○ Familiarity with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft) is a plus. ○ Knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control protocols.
