Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring a comfortable experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and sterilized equipment. Take and develop dental X-rays as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care. Sterilize dental instruments and maintain infection control standards. Manage patient records and update charts accurately. Order and maintain dental supplies and inventory. Provide chairside assistance to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills (required):
Experience:
Prior experience as a dental assistant preferred
Certification:
X-ray certification and CPR certification preferred
Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and patient care.
Team Player:
Ability to work well with dentists, hygienists, and front desk staff. MUST have expanded function certificate
