seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant
WITH AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring accuracy and safety. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and handling billing inquiries. Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to younger patients. Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping. Engage in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health. Proficiency in medical coding for accurate billing processes. Experience or interest in pediatrics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Familiarity with endodontics procedures is a plus. Competence in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry. Proficient in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software. Ability to take precise X-rays while adhering to safety standards. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
