Compensation:
$40,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during appointment Support dentists and dental hygienists by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team during procedures or examinations Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records Must be responsible and have excellent work ethic. You will be an integral part of our team, therefore we need you to come to work every day and be on time.
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification or RDA state license by the Dental Assisting National Board’s (DANB) Active BLS/CPR certification is required Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed Associate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired About Company We are a private family dental practice.
