Job Description
Dental Assistant Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry 870 Mack Bayou Road, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of dental assisting experience, enjoy working with children, and be eager to contribute to a positive and supportive team culture. Hourly rate up to $30, based on experience. Responsibilities Assist the pediatric dentist during exams and procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe environment Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) Chart patient notes accurately and efficiently Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and post-procedure care Maintain dental supply inventory and order as needed Create a calm, engaging atmosphere for pediatric patients Must have’s to be successful 1-2 years minimum experience as a Dental Assistant (Required) Prior experience in a pediatric dental office is strongly preferred Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitude Ability to work well with children and as part of a collaborative team Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable. Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent (required).
Dental Certification:
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certificate, OR Graduate from a formal accredited dental assisting school in accordance with
Florida Administrative Code Rule:
64B5-16.002 Must have reliable transportation and valid license

$22.00 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 37 per week
