Dental Assistant Gateway Dental And Implant Center Bethlehem, GA 30620 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various dental procedures, managing patient records, and providing exceptional patient care in a friendly environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays as required. Record and maintain accurate medical records, including patient vital signs and treatment plans. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, utilizing Eaglesoft software. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in the dental practice. Support dental procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatments. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems is a plus. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and dental imaging techniques is beneficial. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
