The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations. Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments. Maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix software. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Assist in pediatric dental care, adapting techniques to meet the needs of younger patients. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques. Proficiency in managing medical records and familiarity with Dentrix systems. Understanding of dental anatomy and patient assessment methods. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while ensuring comfort during procedures. Experience in a dental clinic setting, particularly with pediatric patients, is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
