This role involves assisting the dentist with a wide range of clinical procedures, and providing exceptional patient care. Our ideal candidate is a professional with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dentistry in a warm, family-oriented environment.

Work Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Hours:

7:30 AM – 5:00

PM Lunch Break:

12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Each member of our team is the most important asset we have to offer our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:

Assist four-handed with the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, and preventative treatments. Fabricate, adjust, and place temporary crowns, bridges, and other interim restorations. Take accurate impressions for study models, provisional appliances, and lab work. Perform coronal polishing and apply fluoride and dental sealants. Take, develop, and mount dental radiographs (X-rays). Maintain and prepare operatories and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards. Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and charting. Help manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and inventory of dental supplies. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Communicate effectively with patients and dental team to coordinate care and ensure quality service. Compliance with creating and implementing checklists such as autoclave testing, purging, weekly and monthly maintenance, etc… Familiarity with digital dental practice management software is a plus

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program (CODA-approved preferred). Registration as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) , depending on state requirements. Valid certification in dental radiography and CPR (Basic Life Support).
