We are a close-knit team within our highly efficient boutique-size practice that serves patients referred to us by our fabulous dentists referral base. Job description:
We are seeking extraordinary team members who would bring a warm, friendly, and patient-centered presence to our office. We welcome those with great attention to detail, those who love people, and those who enjoy working on a team! We often travel to out of state such as past destinations include Seattle(three times), Las Vegas (two times), Orlando and Philadelphia for training. We have great monthly team bonus , incentives, and there are ample continuous opportunities for growth and learning. This position also requires flexibility with expectations of working at the front desk at least 1-2 days of the week after being comfortable with dental assisting duties. Front office duties include managing communications and relationships with referring doctors’ offices, appointment scheduling, 5-star concierge-styled patient service, patient registration, appointment confirmation, patient check in & check out, and financials related to payment policies.
Main Responsibilities:
Interacting patients in a warm and friendly way Perform administrative tasks as needed, including managing patient flow Prep the room for the treatment and clean the room for the next patients Taking x-ray and CBCT Conduct pre-op and post-op patient care tasks, including patient assessment and documenting chart and letters Checking patients in and out for their appointments Assisting dentists during procedures ensuring a sterile environment and proper instrument handling Assisting patients to feel comfortable and to reduce anxiety Sterilization of the instruments Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care. Order dental supply, as necessary Follow-up the call to the patients Reviewing the patients schedule and x-rays Answer incoming calls and inquiry Demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times Attending monthly team meeting and contributing the idea Other duties as assigned
Highly Desirable Skills:
Ability to multitask, take initiative and anticipate the needs of others Ability to project a positive, warm, and professional image in person and on the phone Work independently with minimal supervision and initiative to learn our terminology, technology, and processes Keen diligence and attention to detail Positive, joyful and collaborative attitude Qualified candidates have: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Those who do not possess a BA or BS will be considered if prior work experience has provided an equivalent foundation for skill building.
Superior communication skills:
speaking and writing to correctly answer patient emails and credibly represent the quality of services provided within our practice. Experience in a face-to-face customer, client or patient service industry. Comfortable working independently with initiative to learn, take notes, and study to train efficiently into our terminology, technology, and processes. A personal and professional priority that values positivity and promotes healthy relationships. In our practice, “how you say it” and “when you say it” are important.
