Treatment Coordinator/Dental Assistant Hybrid Peachtree Children’s Dentistry-Gainesville 885 Dawsonville Highway NW, Gainesville, GA 30501 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator/Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating patient care by coordinating treatment plans and ensuring smooth communication between patients and the healthcare team. This individual should also be proficient in obtaining radiographs, sterilization, and chair side assisting. This position is essential for enhancing patient experiences and optimizing office operations within a dental setting. Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about treatment options. Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and time. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and medical history. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Educate patients about procedures, insurance coverage, and payment options to ensure understanding and compliance. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote a professional atmosphere. Experience with chairside assisting with the highest level of compassion Understand sterilization techniques in dental environment Obtain diagnostic radiographs on the pediatric patient Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff. Proficiency in office software applications to support administrative functions.
