The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures, maintaining strict adherence to safety and hygiene protocols. Take dental X-rays and ensure proper imaging techniques are utilized for accurate diagnostics. Utilize 3D scanning technology to assist in creating precise dental models when necessary. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed, demonstrating proficiency in dental clinic systems. Assist with endodontic procedures, providing necessary support to the dentist during treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Skills Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques is essential for efficient patient care. Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is preferred to cater to younger patients effectively. Familiarity with taking X-rays and understanding radiographic principles is required. Experience with 3D scanners is a plus, enhancing the quality of patient treatment plans. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting roles is advantageous. Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures is necessary. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
