The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care Responsibilities , but not limited to: Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms for dental procedures Take dental X-rays and intra-oral photos Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Carestream software. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when required. Support endodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting the dentist. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments. Assist with dental coding for insurance purposes as necessary. Execute patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns Perform digital intraoral scans Support patient charting for doctors Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure that the treatment area is clean and organized.
