⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Dental Assistant – Full Time (Gretna / Terrytown Area – All Experience (Gretna/Terrytown) NOLA Dentures And General Dentistry 816 BEHRMAN HWY  compensation: 15 to 20 Dollars an hour for the first 90 days with an increase after 90 days employment type: experience level: no experience required job title: Dental Assistant NOLA Dentures and General Dentistry, a busy and patient-focused practice located at 816 Behrman Hwy in Gretna (serving the Terrytown and greater New Orleans area), is seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. About Us:

We are led by Dr. Russell Schafer and specialize in high-quality dentures (with an on-site lab for quick turnaround) alongside a full range of general, family, and cosmetic dentistry services. Our team is committed to providing a friendly, comfortable, and fear-reducing environment for our patients. Your Responsibilities Will Include (but not limited to): Assisting the dentist chairside during various dental procedures. Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and treatment rooms. Taking and developing dental X-rays (Louisiana X-ray certification is a plus or will be part of training).

Patient interaction:

welcoming, preparing for treatment, providing post-op instructions. Maintaining patient records and assisting with appointment scheduling.

Qualifications:

Genuine interest in patient care and the dental field. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment.

For experienced candidates:

proficiency in dental assisting duties. Louisiana X-ray certification is a plus. If you don’t have it, we can guide you through the process as part of your training. CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
