The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients while assisting the orthodontist during procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain a sterile and organized environment. Duties Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Assist with front desk duties as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Participate in continuing education to stay updated on the latest orthodontic practices. Skills Proficient in infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Knowledge of dental anatomy relevant to orthodontics. Experience in assisting with dental procedures, taking x-rays, digital scans , impressions and photos Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus.
