Work hours:

7:30am – 5:00pm, Monday-Thursday With us, you will Assist with

Orthodontic Procedures:

Direct, solo patient treatment under doctor supervision, primarily involving, but not limited to, placement of archwires and fitting, cementing, and/or adjustment of all orthodontic appliances, along with general doctor assistance Review Treatment with

Patients:

Greet and seat patients; direct communication with patient and responsible party regarding daily treatment

Dental Imaging & Patient Records:

Taking, processing, and/or downloading of digital x-rays and/or intraoral and extraoral photographs for patient records; Intraoral scanning of teeth and making of dental impressions Data Entry for

Patient Treatment Information:

Data entry for daily patient treatment notes regarding performed treatment

Maintain Clinical Supplies:

Cleaning, disinfection, and/or sterilization of dental/orthodontic instruments and equipment

Perform Minor Orthodontic Lab Work:

3D printing and processing of dental models, pouring-up dental impressions, model trimming, fabrication of essix retainers, etc. (Secondary Role)

Office Support:

Work with clinical staff members and vendors to maintain our orthodontic supply inventory; Collaborate with outside dental offices and/or supply vendors regarding patient treatment; Help new or less experienced clinical staff with clinical procedures and policies (when applicable); Assist our front desk staff (when needed) with patient scheduling, answering telephones, and marketing tasks; General office tasks. What you bring Previous general dental or orthodontic assistant training; Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience preferred Skilled hand dexterity Ability to hear verbal instructions and recall/reproduce verbal instructions Willingness to learn new skills under supervision through feedback and constructive criticism Effective keyboarding, spelling, written, and verbal communication skills Friendly demeanor and ability to engage and converse with patients Moderate level of computer skills (sending emails, upload/download documents, internet browsing, working technical abilities in Microsoft Word and Excel) Professional appearance What we offer 4-day work week Complimentary scrub uniforms Production bonuses Team outings (spa day, movie day, etc.) Paid holidays and time off Retirement plan with matching Funded continuing education opportunities To Apply Provide your resume and a short introduction of yourself.
