Experienced Dental Assistant Dr. JamesYoung Belle Chasse, LA 70037 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting principles, excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas for patient care. Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and treatment areas according to safety protocols.
