Job Description:
As a Dental Assistant at Northlake Dental, you will support our dentists during patient exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of operations. You will be responsible for assisting with clinical tasks, maintaining patient comfort, and helping with duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Sterilize and prepare instruments and equipment Take and scan dental x-rays. Record patient medical histories and treatment plans. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Handle patient scheduling and communication with our front office staff. Ensure that all dental materials and supplies are stocked and ready to use.
Preferred Qualifications:
Dental Assistant certification or equivalent training. Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Proficiency with dental software and X-ray equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
