Orthodontic Dental Assistant Amesbury Orthodontics 194 Main Street, Amesbury, MA 01913

Responsibilities:

• Assist orthodontists in providing patient care during orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs
• Assist with medical documentation and coding
• Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times
• Comfort and educate patients, particularly pediatric patients, about orthodontic procedures

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical documentation
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Ability to assist with infection control protocols
• Comfort working with pediatric patients
