We are growing and need a clinical assistant to help care for patients. We are searching for an enthusiastic dental assistant that loves building and maintaining positive relationships with patients who is flexible, and willing to collaborate with other team members. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, with excellent chair-side manner, while demonstrating teamwork Assist the Doctor with dental procedures, maintain excellent patient service, integrity, flow. Review patient chart, document appropriate patient information and health history during the exam and treatment Managing appropriate documentation for patient records- photos, notes, follow- up conversations, patient education Clean, sterilize and prepare the equipment and operatory, prior to and after a patient’s appointment. Educate the patients on proper oral hygiene and address their questions and/or concern. Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs Provide excellent customer service Follow OSHA and Infection control standards Assist patients with questions or concerns Maintain confidential patient information Take and enter patient insurance information Provide 4 handed chair side dental assisting Sterilization and Disinfection of operatories and instruments Oversees maintenance of operatory, sterilization and laboratory areas. Ensures departmental compliance with CDA’s safety, OSHA and HIPAA Coordinates laboratory processes including inventory and laboratory account reconciliation. Assists with responsibilities of dental supply inventory and coordinating maintenance and repair of equipment. Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant is preferred Schedule 4 day work week. 1 night per week required (12-8) and 1 Saturday a month (7:45-1:30) required.
