Full-Time/Regular Perform all administrative activities for the Office of the Dean, Offices of Communication, Development and Events and Meeting Planning. Some of the major activities include but are not limited to the following; keeping the calendar and scheduling meetings for the staff, recording minutes at various meetings, ordering supplies, paying and reconciling invoices, creating shopping carts ;maintaining database of faculty and staff addresses for development mailings, making travel arrangements, assisting event and meeting planning with school wide events such as participant check-in, distribution of programs, setting up of meeting space etc.. The individual will be required to work some evenings and weekends to support school wide events such as Alumni Weekend, and Graduation activities. The individual must exercise initiative, independent judgment and discretion in arranging meetings, maintaining appointment schedule and disposing of requests for information. Required Skills
High School Diploma Required
Bachelor Degree in Business Management or related field is preferred but not required.
1-3 years of experience Must possess outstanding computer skills including advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint
Excellent time management and organizational skills for project management, coordinating meetings, travel schedule and specific arrangements
Must have excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and be able to critically think through problems and present potential solutions
Ability to work across teams with a variety of projects and constituencies
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment Must demonstrate experience with information management for both internal and external purposes.
