Job Description
Dental Clinical Assistant Kids Dentistry of Chesterfield Chesterfield, MO 63017 We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform patient assessments and documenting medical history
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Follow proper infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Assist with front office duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification in dental assisting
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental software systems
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
