Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll assist with clinical procedures and administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly while delivering high-quality care.
Assist the dentist or hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures
Set up and prepare instruments and equipment for each patient visit
Sterilize instruments following established infection control protocols
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Provide post-treatment instructions and support to patients
Assist with scheduling, billing, and dental coding
Work closely with pediatric and adult patients to ensure comfort and understanding
Support prosthodontic and general dentistry procedures
Help maintain a clean and organized treatment environment
What You Bring to the Table
High school diploma or equivalent
- Required
Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
Dental X-ray License - Required
Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques
Knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, and anatomy
Familiarity with medical imaging systems and patient documentation
Strong interpersonal skills, especially with pediatric patients
Dependable, organized, and passionate about patient care
