Experience needed. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and record vital signs of patients as needed. Manage patient records using dental software systems such as WinOms. Provide support to the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments,answering phones and managing patient flow. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Perform basic lab tasks, including creating impressions for prosthodontics when required. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a high standard of patient care. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with familiarity in assisting with various dental procedures. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as WinOMS is highly desirable. Ability to take vital signs accurately and assist in emergency situations if necessary. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Certification in CPR or ACLS is a plus.
