Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years dental assisting experience
- NC X-ray certified
- CPR certified (
- must be current
- NC Nitrous certified
- Coronal polishing certification (
- DA2 must have
- Knowledge of Sterilization
- Prior knowledge of pediatric dental assisting and assisting in hospital is a plus, but not required as the team will be receiving training prior to opening.
Responsibilities
- Create dental records for patients
- Provide information about dental care
- Take and develop x-rays
- Clean rooms and sterilize equipment
- Maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies, instruments, and equipment
- The ideal candidate will be willing to help in any area of the practice when necessary and willing to learn new procedures and new innovative ways of doing things
- Volunteer at schools and other community service organizations in the future.
