The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Manage medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring proper imaging techniques are used. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and place orders as necessary. Assist with prosthodontics procedures, ensuring all materials are prepared in advance. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with Open Dental software for managing patient records is advantageous. Knowledge of anatomy, medical coding, and medical imaging practices is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential.
