SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Take impressions of the patient’s teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc… Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling) Ask about the patient’s medical history and take blood pressure and pulse Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Join our team and help drive our mission that all children, regardless of family income, deserve access to high-quality dental care, in a kid-friendly and fun environment!
