Dental Assisting Instructor – Hendersonville, NC Accelerated Academy Hendersonville, NC Job Details Part-time $31.25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Dental assisting Mid-level High school diploma or GED 2 years Full Job Description We are in need of a Dental Assisting Instructor at our Hendersonville, NC location hosted at Hendersonville Family Dental. This includes clinical teaching on Saturdays during our 10 week semesters. Do you find yourself training and helping new dental assistants in your practice? Do you find fulfillment in helping others? If so, we have the job for you… The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below: Prepare to facilitate class by reviewing and understanding the clinic stations. Prepare the dental office for class by setting up clinic stations. Facilitate clinic sessions by executing class checklists and completing each task in its entirety. Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system. Manage all classroom situations.

Position Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively with students
• Positive, fun, and caring attitude
• Dental Training Certificates, & 2 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant
• CPR certificate and UNC Chapel Hill Educational and Clinical Application for Proprietary Radiology Educators Certificate for

$31.25 per hour Expected hours: 5 – 9 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift 8 hour shift Weekends as needed
