Must be flexible and willing to learn /communicate with team. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety.

• Responsibilities
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software, such as open dental.
• Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
• Support various dental specialties including prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and more.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and managing patient inquiries.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental clinic setting.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures.
• Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
