Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional, outgoing, energetic, and knowledgeable Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of orthodontic assisting experience and demonstrates a passion for patient care and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist with all aspects of clinical orthodontic procedures, including: Placing and removing braces and appliances. Adjusting arch wires and monitoring progress during orthodontic adjustments. Fabricating retainers and other orthodontic appliances. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and appliance care to ensure successful treatment outcomes. Take high-quality digital impressions, x-rays, and photographs as needed for treatment planning and documentation. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use. Provide exceptional patient care, creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients of all ages. Support team members by contributing to the overall flow and efficiency of the office. Stay informed about the latest orthodontic techniques and tools to ensure the highest quality care.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Orthodontic Assistant. Certification a DA I (CPR & Dental Radiography Certification) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members. Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of care. Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
