Certified Dental Assistant Position Available In Onslow, North Carolina

Certified Dental Assistant Family Dental Care NC 1701 Country Club Road, Jacksonville, NC 28546

Duties:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Perform patient assessments and record medical histories
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain and update patient records using Epic or other electronic medical record systems
• Assist with medical coding and documentation for insurance billing purposes
• Use CAD/CAM technology for designing and fabricating dental restorations
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Epic
• Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals Please note that experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.
