Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Perform basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Skills Proficient in dental assisting techniques and practices. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry, particularly in pediatrics and general dentistry. Familiarity with Dentrix software for managing patient records effectively. Experience with infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Ability to take vital signs and assist in monitoring patient health during procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
