We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. Our long-term assistant will be retiring.
Responsibilities:
Assist the endodontist using the assistant microscope during procedures Assisting is very active, passing instruments/files, as you will NOT be suctioning as a primary duty Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control guidelines. Take and process dental X-rays. Educate patients on postoperative care and oral hygiene instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Provide support to the front desk and other team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant work experience. X-ray certification is required. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Familiarity with dental software is a plus.
