The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics. Monitoring Nitrous Oxide (Certification required) Scan for crowns and nightguards using Cerec Primescan. Cerec knowledge a plus. Efficient with taking bitewings and FMX X-rays. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow and patient comfort. Proficiency in lab duties such as pouring models, making retainers/whitening trays, making custom trays and model mounting. Manage patient records and medical histories accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain excellent sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment. Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff. Qualifications CDA preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate. X-ray certified Nitrous Oxide monitoring certified Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix/Dexis is a plus. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Must be a team player and willing to help in all areas of the office.
