The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment. Prepare patients for treatments and procedures by taking medical histories and vital signs. Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging as needed, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support pediatric dentistry procedures with patience and understanding. Assist in managing inventory of dental supplies and materials. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of dental imaging techniques, including X-Ray and 3D scanning, is an asset. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
