Our preferred candidate would have periodontics experience. Our office is open Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist and periodontist during a variety of treatment procedures, surgeries, and help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Duties
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Instruct patients on proper dental hygiene practices
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient record Requirements
- Dedication to patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Familiarity dental coding
- Ability to take dental X-rays and operate related equipment
- Strong understanding of dental terminology
- Willingness to assist in various tasks as needed
