The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to support various dental procedures, maintain patient comfort, and manage office tasks. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize dental software systems ( open dental) for patient management and record keeping. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and treatment areas. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake, and follow-up communications. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging as needed. Stay updated on dental terminology, procedures, and best practices to enhance patient care. Skills . ( must have at least 1 year experience as Dental assistance ) Proficiency in using dental software systems ( open Dental) is preferred. Knowledge of X-Ray techniques and safety measures. Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Experience in dental assisting with the ability to perform various clinical tasks effectively. Capability to monitor vital signs accurately. Understanding of dental terminology to assist in comprehensive patient care. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
