un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Dental Assistant- Bay Ridge (Brooklyn) compensation: $20-$25 employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Dental Assistant In this role, the successful candidate will assist the dentist in all phases of dentistry: hygiene, oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics. Practice four handed dentistry. The assistant also assumes the standards of care related to infection control. The assistant will take x-rays, CT scans, and inter-oral scans. They will also properly sets trays, prepares room before accepting or discharging a patient. They are expected to ensure a patients comfort while waiting for the dentist. The assistant is responsible to sterilize hand pieces transport instruments for sterilization and maintain patient records. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, be a team player and have at least 1 year experience. Principals only.
