This position requires a strong understanding of various dental procedures and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Min. 1 year dental assisting experience required. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software systems. Provide chairside assistance in various specialties, including General Dentistry, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Pediatrics. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area to meet health and safety standards. Help manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks as required. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Skills Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental management software is preferred. Knowledge of general dentistry practices, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics, and dental coding is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with X-ray equipment and safety protocols. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential.
