The ideal candidate will support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the dental office. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including endodontics, general dentistry, and pediatrics. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure a clean working environment. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize Dentrix software for patient scheduling, record management, and billing processes. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging when required. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental procedures, terminology, and equipment. Proficiency in using Dentrix software is highly desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Ability to take X-rays and understand radiographic principles. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential. Certification in dental assisting is a plus but not mandatory.
