Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. This position plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow for our practice. As an Endodontic Dental Assistant, your primary duties will include: Preparing for daily treatments by reviewing patient schedules and charts in advance. Setting up the office and operatories each morning, including turning on computers and sterilization setup. Recording and communicating patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and radiographic findings to the doctor. Performing dental radiographs and cone beam scans and ensuring their accuracy for the doctor’s review. Providing an exceptional patient experience through comfort options, education, and treatment explanations. Assisting in the management of medical and dental emergencies. Delivering post-operative instructions as prescribed by the dentist. Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical notes in patient charts. Generating consult and post-operative reports for referring dentists. Collaborating with front and back office teams to ensure efficient schedule management and treatment communication. Adhering to strict infection-control policies and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Restocking and maintaining operatories to be patient-ready at all times. Managing dental supply inventory and anticipating practice needs. Ensuring patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Contributing to daily office cleaning tasks. To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Active and unrestricted X-ray certification in the state of MA. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental setting. Ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday. Exceptional communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
