Dental Assistant
KARSKI DENTAL LLC 2539
Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105 Family owned and operated dental practice for over 40 years, offering comprehensive family dental care. Monday through thursday. Double hygiene, two front office, two assitants, one full time dentist, and one part time dentist. Fantastic patients and their families are the core of our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring impressions and trimming models
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of medical documentation and coding procedures
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations
- Experience working with electronic health record systems (Epic)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
