We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and professional Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who can multi-task and is enthusiastic about their work. We are a high-tech, fast-paced, privately owned dental practice. This position is full-time. Hours are 7:30 AM – 4 PM. 4 days a week. Alternating Mondays and Fridays off. We offer competitive wages based on experience. No evenings or weekends. Please submit a resume for consideration. Job Details:
You must possess 2+ years of experience in dental assisting. This EFDA position entails working chairside with 4-handed general dentistry (placing restorations, sealants, taking digital xrays, coronal polishing, Itero scanning, dental photography, assisting with PVS and alginate impressions, etc.), assisting with oral surgery as needed. You will be responsible for the breakdown/disinfection and set-up of operatories, sterilization of instruments, weekly maintenance of equipment, assisting doctors with all scopes of dentistry, office maintenance, etc. Benefits include 1 week of paid vacation after 6 months of employment. After 1 year of employment: 2 weeks paid vacation and 3 paid sick days, and 401K at 3% unmatched PLUS year-end profit sharing.
Position Requirements:
Valid PA EFDA license. Digital office – requires the ability to utilize a computer and a variety of software applications. Must possess excellent communication skills & work well with others to execute common goals. Ability to articulate. Work at an efficient pace. Ability to follow directions and multi-task as needed.
