Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Assistant , you will work with several dentists and dental hygienists and provide chair-side skills, observe, and apply infection control and laboratory protocols, and assist with basic principles of taking x-rays. Sterilize dental instruments in adherence to all licensing and accreditation protocols Prepare room and instruments for the anticipated/scheduled dental procedures. Prepare radiographs for viewing/diagnosis by Dentist. Assist Dentist with instruments and tasks at “chair side”. Assure operating methods and materials in the Dental Area are following OSHA’s blood borne pathogens and hazardous material standards. Assist hygienists when needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain radiology certification within required time frame Strong interest in the dental field, Customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who are passionate about making a difference in our community.
