Job Description
Endodontic Dental Assistant Southern Endodontics 109 Broadbent Way, Anderson, SC 29625 Overview We are an Endodontic office seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. Experience preferred preferably some in Endo but not required. Your primary responsibility will be to provide chairside assistance during endodontic procedures and perform various administrative tasks. We hold ourselves to high customer service standards and strive to deliver excellent patient experiences. Responsibilities Preparing the treatment room, assisting the doctor during endodontic procedures, room breakdown and sterilization
- Take digital radiographs
- Prepare and maintain dental materials, equipment, and instruments
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients and schedule follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Assist with front desk duties such answering phone calls and scheduling appointments as needed.
Skills Proficiency in infection control procedures and maintaining a sterile environment. Knowledge of medical records management and maintaining HIPPA standards. Experience with dental electronic practice management systems. Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform basic patient assessments. Familiarity with dental coding. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, dentist, and other team members. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Certifications Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Dental Radiology Certification CPR Hours:
8:00 am
- 5:00 pm, Monday
