This role is vital in supporting our dentists and enhancing the overall efficiency of our practice. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Manage patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote better health outcomes. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Perform basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling dental coding as needed. Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients, helping them feel at ease during their visits. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of infection control standards.
